Breakfast and live viewing of SOTEU for university students
Are you a student interested in Europe and EU’s current priorities and future plans? Do you want to discuss the role of young people in Europe while enjoying a cup of coffee?
Join us for breakfast followed by an interactive live viewing of the 2026 State of the European Union (SOTEU) address by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.
The morning will include a discussion with two Dutch MEPs on their priorities and perspective of the address, a live viewing of the SOTEU from Strasbourg, and a panel discussion on what it means for young people and the EU.
Panel: Cecilia Thorfinn (European Commission), Emma van Straaten (EU Youth Representative NJR), and Dirk Goll (The Hague University of Applied Sciences).
The event will be moderated by Lars Westra, EU Youth Delegate to the United Nations.
